When I was 18 years old, I was in college and I was going to school to be an accountant (Believe it or not). And I had a pretty bad car accident and almost died.
I woke up in the hospital several hours later with lots of pain. My neck was hurting, my shoulder was hurting, I couldn't move and I was really uncomfortable.
And at 18, I didn't know a whole lot about health and wellness or mind, body, or anything.
I didn't take the pills the doctor recommended and I ended up going to see a chiropractor, the next week. And after about six weeks of treatment, I had no more neck pain had no more shoulder, my shoulder was fine.
And I was like, wow, what is this called? What did you do to me? What is this? What is this?
He goes, Oh, well, this is chiropractic. And this is how you heal the body with your hands and you align the spine and you reset the nervous system. And this is how you actually correct conditions and get into the root of the problem.
I remember that day was like, it's the day that you figure out this is what I want to do for my life. You know, it's a really incredible turning point. And I immediately dropped all my accounting classes because I was doing terrible anyway, I didn't like it. And I changed my color. My course in life changed that day.
